Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about buying and selling event tickets on Bilzeo. For full legal detail, see our Terms, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Guarantee Policy.
Is Bilzeo the official seller?
No. Bilzeo is a resale marketplace where people who already hold tickets list them for sale to other buyers. We're not the event organizer, not the official box office, and not a primary ticket seller — every ticket on Bilzeo is being resold by someone who already holds it.
How does payment actually work, day to day?
When you buy a ticket, you send a bank transfer (SEPA) directly to the seller's IBAN — Bilzeo never receives, holds, or routes your money. You mark the order as "payment sent," the seller confirms once they've received it, and then delivers your ticket. Once you confirm you've received it, the order is complete.
What happens if the seller never confirms receipt of my payment?
Your order is reserved for about 48 hours after you place it. If the seller hasn't confirmed receipt of your payment by then, the order is cancelled and the listing is released. Bank transfers can't be reversed the way card payments can, so this is exactly the kind of situation our Buyer Guarantee is there for.
Are there any buyer fees?
No. The price shown on a listing is the price you pay — no service fee, no booking fee, nothing added at checkout. Bilzeo's revenue comes from a commission charged to the seller, not the buyer.
Why might a price be higher than face value?
Bilzeo is a secondary marketplace, so sellers — not Bilzeo — set their own prices, and these can be above or below the ticket's original face value. This is normal for ticket resale, especially for high-demand events. Every listing shows the face value next to the seller's price, so you can compare before you buy.
What's the difference between a private and a business seller?
When listing a ticket, every seller declares whether they're selling as a private individual or as a trader/business, and this is shown on the listing. It matters because when you buy from a private seller, you have no ordinary consumer-law rights against that seller — only our Buyer Guarantee protects you in that case. We show this status upfront so you always know who you're buying from.
How do I sell my tickets?
You can only list a ticket you already hold — Bilzeo doesn't allow listings for tickets you don't have yet. Pick your event, enter the section, row, quantity, and your price, and add the IBAN you want to be paid to, then publish. Once it sells and you've confirmed the buyer's payment, deliver the ticket; Bilzeo then invoices you a 15% commission on the sale.
Is my order protected?
Yes. Every order on Bilzeo is covered by our Buyer Guarantee, funded and run by Bilzeo itself — it's not insurance, and there's no extra fee for it. If a ticket turns out to be invalid, never arrives, or you're refused entry, we'll give you a replacement or a full refund. See the Refund & Guarantee Policy for the complete terms.
